new server WP setup and broken image urls

  • Hi I’ve recently moved servers and installed WP this time in the root.
    Image url’s in old posts though are referencing the old path – website.com/wp/wp-content/uploads rather than website.com/wp-content/uploads and showing up blank.

    Is there any way to fix this? Or would I need to reinstall WP in old setup or just create the wp/wp-content/uploads/ directories as a holder for old imagery?
