Export Database as CSV File to S3

    Hi!

    I am backing up part of my database to S3 to do various analytics in there. The backup of the databases is working great. I’m trying to figure out if it would be possible to export the database as a csv type file instead of the mysql to make it more readable for what I am doing.

    Hi,

    CSV is a single-sheet spreadsheet format with no types available except numbers and strings, and no meta-data. This is not a suitable format a MySQL database backup, which requires much more complexity. So, no, there is no possibility of exporting your WP database as a CSV file.
