“Automatically login after verification” set to yes, but user not logged in

    Hi,

    I set the “Automatically login after verification” option to yes so that when users click on the Account activation link from email they will login automatically to my website but it is not happening.
    When users click the activation link, the account gets activated, but they have to login manually.

    Also, for the Redirect after verification option (Redirect to any page after successfully verified account): it redirects too fast, is it possible to add a few more seconds so they can see they are verified before it redirects to another page of my choice.

    I forgot to add, my first issue is that users have to log manually but it should be automatic since the option was set to yes.

    I appreciate all the help I can get ??
