Some email messages are sent as plain text and some as html. How can this one be changed to html for each email?

Is there any consistency in the email types for which are getting html treatment and which are not? For example, the ones going out to the users themselves aren’t, but the emails going out to the admins are?

Asking because we definitely make use of the wp_mail_content_type filter to set the content types to text/html around our emails, but I’m wondering if it’s not taking like it should in some conditions.

No it’s not about admin or not admin. For example the User Pending Email Message is text/html. Unfortunately, the approval mail is plain text only.

The admin vs not admin was just an example. You mentioning the pending email vs approval email is another example and one I can check on/work with to see if I’m not doing something properly.

Will try to check on more in depth soon.
