Excellent but needs a change visual

  • Hello my congratulations to the plugin and the creator for doing it and putting it free.
    I would like a donation link to encourage the creator to make more changes to this beautiful plugin.

    I would also ask you to change the visual aspect of the plugins now they are vertical and the best would be horizontal.
    Since it is very annoying to read the names of the plugins vertically.

    It’s just a small suggestion and I hope you take it well.

    It’s my interest to improve this plugin so suggestions are really welcome also without the donation link.
    I agree with you, it would be a lot better to have the plugins name in a horizontal way.
    It’s funny because it’s annoying also for me. Originally the names were vertical, but then I realized that the users who use this plugin have very frequently more than 10 plugins active at the same time, I have seen installations with more than 80 plugins, so I had no other solution than changing orientation, in another case, many users will not see all the plugins or they have to scroll a lot before to see the plugins.
    To read horizontally you can stay with your mouse on the plugin name, then you will see a simple horizontal tooltip showing the plugin name.

    Maybe in future versions, the code can assign the orientation depending on the number of plugins, until now I haven’t considered it as a priority, but reading your comment I’ve changed idea. I can’t promise that the very next version will already include this feature, but I will really consider it and you may find it in the future.

    Hello @lgokul, the new version 1.3.3 is available. I’ve implemented a names orientation control, but you will not see it if you don’t enable the beta version features.

    If you want to have a look you should open your wp-config.php file and add this line of code before the message /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */:

    define( ‘FDP_BETA_VERSION’,true );

    If you enable the beta features you will see the control “Plugin names orientation” on the right (or on the left in case you have an RTL installation) if you have less than 15 plugins and your screen is larger than 1300 px. I think in other situations you would have not enough space for horizontal names.

    Another idea is to also disable plugin in mobile version.

    That the deactivation orders are different for PC and Mobile edition page, would be the maximum!
