Using Ocean WP. Somehow I was trying to fix the text color on my footer and ended up having the footer repeated partially at the top of just one page (the contact page). Can someone tell me how to correct that? And while we are talking about the footer, can you also tell me how to change the text color in the links put there by the designer? They are the correct color in the ones that I have added but the existing links are the original color.
    Thanks so much.

  • Hello,

To change the text and link color of the footer, go to Appearance > Customize > Footer Widget section.

Can you share your site link so that I can check the footer jumping issue?

Thanks so much with the help with the footer text color. Interestingly enough, the jumping footer doesn’t show up when anyone else views my website. It’s only visible to me when I am working on it. Odd.

It could be a cache issue. Did you check it on a different browser or computer?

Shows up on any computer I am using when I am administrating the page. Doesn’t show up on the public side though. Odd.

That’s really odd. It may be a plugin conflict. Try to disable/enable plugin one by one to check for a possible conflict.

Yesterday you helped me to get my pages looking good on mobile devices by moving the menu to the same location on every page and removing the word “undefined” from the menu (thanks so much). But now when you are looking at the website from any computer, part of the footer is at the top of the page, covering up the main part of the page. It is now visible from the public side (not just the administrative side) and it’s on every page.
The website is open to view pinkbikinitravel.com
I attempted to disable and then re-enable each of the plug ins as you suggested to check for a possible conflict. When I disabled Elementor it really messed up the the look of everything so I re-enabled it but it didn’t fix the problem. There were no changes with the other plug ins. They are all activated again.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

@pinkbikinitravel it is because have assigned the template as a custom header. Try to remove your custom header condition for that template and check it works or not.

How do I remove the custom header condition for the template? (sorry, still new at this. I appreciate your patience)

Are you using Elementor Pro? Try to edit the template using Elementor > condition and remove the header from there.
Or delete the template and recreate it. It will work.

Thanks Amit. I finally had to hire someone for this one. I couldn’t figure it out. I do, however, appreciate all of your assistance with it! You are a wiz!

    You’re welcome!
