Two Questions

  • I’m sure these are both very basic but I’m very new and can’t seem to find the answer.

    #1 How do I change the title of my blog and get rid of “Just another WordPress weblog”

    #2 If I want a post to show up on my front page and be available at a specific link. Such as a devotional that appears on the frontpage and is also available under the “Devotionals” link on my Main Menu. It seems I should be able to link a Category to a page but I can’t figure it out.

  • #1. Go to Settings >> General. Change the tagline there.

    #2. Also under Settings, go to Reading. Under “Front page displays” – Select “A static page (select below)” and select the page you want to show as your homepage.
