Ooo Oooo, Horshack raises hand : modifying the archive list

  • My sidebar currently displays the archive as:

    August 2009
    July 2009
    June 2009
    etc…

    I would prefer:

    08/2009
    07/2009
    etc…

    I think I should be able to add this to the sidebar as modified php, but I have not been able to find the info yet on how to do it. Any help?
