Is Contact Form 7 v2.0.1 compatible with WP2.7.1

    Is Contact Form 7 version 2.0.1 compatible with WordPress 2.7.1?

    I had 1.9.4 working but 2.0.1 will not work at all.

    I note that the info panel in worpress.org/extend/plugins – the version says it is but I just had another plugin that would not work which also said it was compatible according to the info panel and their plugin website – only to find out from the developer via email that it was not.

  • Hi Venesa, I think it is. It worked well on my blog. And is still working very well with WordPress 2.8.3.

    Try activating it and see what happens

    I am still on 1.9.3 with WP 2.7.1 and the updat notification says, goto 2.0.1 but not yet, no time and need to test it first.

    Hi Nkolika, I did activate it and does not send emails at all.

    I not only upgraded to WP 2.7.1 but changed to operating system to Ubuntu. Was using SUSE and WP 2.5.1 with Contact Form 7 1.9.4 which all working perfectly. I use sendmail with the old version and the new version.

    All my other plugins have been upgraded and working okay.

    Would appreciate any tips on how to get this working.

    I am going to run a trace this weekend to see if I can spot the failure point.
