incompatible file type

    Hi,
    because I have a blank thumbnail in admin dashboard on a few images, I tried to reupload it but I have an error message :
    “Ce type de fichier est incompatible avec les règles de sécurité. Essayez-en un autre.”

    it’s a JPG file with 755 access rights.
    (inside media library, if I click on the file, I’m able to see it with its description, alt…)

    any idea ?

    after testing, the problems seems to be relative to some JPG files. I open it with Paint which display a message about transparency (??). I save my image again under paint. Size growth from 37 KB to 111 KB but this timpe, I was able to replace it.

    @nolme – sorry for my slow reply first of all.
    What it could be is that the JPG file is actually a PNG file but with the wrong extension (.jpg).

    Try to change the extension to .png and try again?
