Hello

I just use WP to Diaspora now but i have an issue because my artcile is posted twice !

The only one method i use to prevent it (no ok each time i do this …) is to disable tags and refresh diaspora aspects (tag ?) as dscribed in my picture below

Please let me know what version of WordPress you’re using and what diaspora* pod you’re on.

Also, if you can share the list of plugins you’re using, that would be perfect. Sometimes other plugins interfere with the posting, so there may be an issue there.

and when u have some bugs has this, publish become very difficult ^^

I’ve tried to post with the plugins you’ve listed and don’t experience the double posting, everything works perfectly, posting to diaspora and Mastodon.
What instance on Mastodon are you on?

Is there anything else you can tell me about your setup?
Do you schedule the posts? Do they contain tags?

Hope we can get this sorted =)

I just understand possible reason …

I use hashtagger (as described in my post before) and i had a bug with it :
Hashtags i wrote wasn’t recognized and i needed to force “preview”. But when i do this, diaspora is posted twice ONCE i published the post.

So if u preview before, when u post, diaspora version of your post is written twice.
Now, i don’t see hashtagger’s bug anymore, it’s solved for me (but preview is still buggued and post twicer diaspora, if u want i can post a new bug repport about that).

Ah, I see! Will need to look into the double posting issue.

I think part of the problem might also be how Gutenberg handles post saves.
