Dean’s Permalink Not Working Anymore

    I’m currently using Dean’s Permalink Migration plugin and it was working fine up until recently. Now in my Permalink settings it says that my .htaccess file isn’t writeable (even though it is).

    The old permalink structure isn’t being re-directed by the Plug-in, doesn’t anybody have any ideas on how I can remedy the problem?

  • assign 755 or 777 permissions to your .htaccess file..

    I de-activated and re-activated the plug-in and now it works. Just in case someone else runs into the same problem, give that a shot.
