Cannot add Meta Description

    I have several wordpress sites, but for some reason on this one at the end of my blog post/website page there is no option to add a meta description for the page. I have an updated version of wordpress as well as Yoast SEO. Has anyone encountered this and been able to fix it?

  • Hi,
    You will start by visiting SEO ? Dashboard page and then click on the ‘Features’ tab. And found Advanced settings page. now enable meta description.

    @lcuser To set the Meta Description for your page you would need to perform the following actions:

      In WordPress, go to the Edit screen for a page/post
      Scroll down to the Yoast meta box
      Click on ‘Edit Snippet’
      Input a page description into the ‘Meta Description’ box
      Click ‘Update’ to save the changes to the page/post
