• The leave a comment info is not appearing on posts on the live site. I set up a staging environment through my host to troubleshoot: I deactivated all plugins and switched over to the TwentyNineteen theme. I am still not seeing text boxes after your content where users can submit their comments.

  • The options at Settings > Discussion for the “Default article settings” apply to each page/post as it is created. That’s why it’s called the default.
Once it is created, it can be set independently of all other pages/posts.
So if you had the Default set to not allow comments, then created a bunch of posts, then changed the default, those posts already created are unaffected by changing the default. The default is for new posts.

The theme should just respect the setting of each page/post for whether the comment form is output.

    Hi Joy,

Thanks; yes; I understand that. That is why set up a staging environment where I set the default in discussion to allow comment on all new posts. I then wrote and published a test post. No leave a comment option. That is why I proceeded to deactivate all plugins and switch to the WP TwentyNineteen theme (in the staging environment). Still no comment options. I am sorry I did not make that clear.

I am using Genesis framework on my live site. Live and staging environments are on Siteground. My live site url is https://www.bcrrclub.com.

    Thanks,
    Jennifer

I went to your comments feed and it is empty. (likely because the form is never displayed)
But the form is not in the page itself. I was unable to determine the WP version of your site from the page, so if you have caching going on, that might affect the output.
I tested WP 5.2.2 with allowing comments on and making a new post and it shows the comment form on two different themes (including Twenty Nineteen) whether I was logged in or not.

By the way, your social icons in the header are overlapping your title.
