direct stripe setting page does not store settings

Thank you for using Direct Stripe.

Did you / could you test saving a Direct Stripe setting after deactivating other plugins and switching to default twentynineteen theme ?

After you are logged in to the admin of you WordPress site could you open another tab in the same browser window and go to https://yourdomain.ext/wp-json/direct-stripe/v1/settings ( edit yourdomain.ext with with your own ) ? And tell me what is shown ?

Hello again,

I realize you are using plain permalinks and that will prevent settings to be saved. In order to save settings in Direct Stripe please use Pretty permalinks.

At Settings -> Permalinks switch to any of the settings ( like Post name ) except Plain.

My “Global” and “Styles” Settings are recorded but not my “Emails” and “Buttons” Settings. I have to recreate all the buttons!?

Do you mean that after creating a button, you don’t get the green bubble that says Saved and the button is not listed in the dropdown field to select a button you want to edit ?

There was an old bug that prevent saving settings when a character like “&” was used in the settings, are you using a character like “&” ? Are you using an older version of Direct Stripe ?

Does this still happen if all other plugins are deactivated and the default twentynineteen theme activated ?

After creating a button,I got the green bubble that says Saved and the button is listed in the dropdown field. But on closing my WP session and re-entering, all the buttons desapeared from the dropdown. And I had to recreate them.

But for the first time I can see all of them. ?? I don’t know what happened. Maybe for clicking the ADD Stripe Button for the first time? Before I was just copy/past the code of the stripe button.

Nicolas: now it works, I can see all the saved buttons and can delete them, with all the related infos saved. So for now everything ok.

We enter new API keys, but the old ones remain.

WP 5.2.2
Permalink Structure: Post name
> Switched to Twentynineteen
> Disabled all Plugins, left the Stripe one only

Direct Stripe save all my settings, except the buttons. Not in the Edit Buttons list.

Is it because I eliminated the page of my website where the Stripe buttons were located? It shouldn’t be so.

The BUTTONS SETTINGS page does NOT save my buttons. (Other pages settings are saved)
This is very frustrating.

wow, for 2 days the BUTTONS SETTINGS page wasn’t saving the buttons, and just now I can see all the buttons saved.

It is the second time that it happened to me. Not seeing buttons saved during various days and then seeing them.

Why would that be? weird.

Try to save Direct Stripe settings with the browser’s console open -> https://kb.mailster.co/how-can-i-open-the-browsers-console/ and report any error logged.

Well, yesterday, few minutes after I could see again my saved buttons, again it didn’t show. HUGE instability. And this plugin is quite important for the payment process.

A little thing is bugging. No idea what it could be.

I just de-instaled Direct Stripe, then re-instaled it, and now I can see my saved buttons. it even saved all my other informations even though I deinstaled the plugin, great.

Hope now it is fixed. I pray.

Well, the saved buttons desapeared again.

unstaling and reinstaling make the buttons appear, but then changing to other pages in WP admin make the buttons saved desapear. No idea what the bug is.
