• I am having two problems related to the link below.

    Whenever I select the link of an image in the album to “media file” and update the page, it give me an error in a red banner at the top saying updating failed. But the page updates fine when I select “attachment page” or “none”. I tried deleting the page and creating a new one, but it still gives me the same problem.

    And that also leads to my other problem. Creating the new page removed the custom background for that particular page. The custom CSS I have for the custom background on that page, its sister pages, and parent page is this:

    body.page-id-8027, body.page-id-7959, body.parent-pageid-7959 {
        background-image: url(https://www.tnmartistry.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Background-1-4.jpg);
    }

    How can I fix these two problems?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I’m still stuck on this problem, and I have an urgent deadline. Is there more information I need to give in order for someone to help me?

    Hey,
    Sorry for the delay! Somehow this topic was overlooked.
    Have you tried contacting your host about this? It seems like your page may be timing out. I suggest reaching out to them. Also, are you optimizing your photos?

    I have contacted my host, but he’s really busy currently, and hosting is only a side job thing.

    What does optimizing photos mean?

    Who is your host?
    This post explains image optimization: https://www.kadencethemes.com/best-practices-for-images-sizes-and-optimization-in-wordpress/
    Because you are loading so many images on your page I definitely would recommend using some sort of image optimization plugin (such as Imagify or ShortPixel).

    I was confused a bit about what website host meant. Sorry. I use DreamHost. I have not contacted them. I’d contacted the person who had set up my website domain and who helps me with that sort of thing. That’s who I’d meant. I’ll contact DreamHost then. Thank you!

    That makes more sense:) Let me know how they respond!

    Will do!

    By the way, what does that mean when my page is optimizing out?

    Ugh. Sorry. I read your reply wrong. Never mind Haha!
