WPML compatibility of Data table widget?

Hi,
This topic has been marked “Resolved” while nothing is…
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wpml-translation-of-widgets-on-existing-pages/When will this widget be WPML compliant?
I’ve been waiting specifically for this widget for 6 months now.
And you’ve been releasing the 3rd update after the 3.1.0 and it’s still not fixed ??2nd question: how does your WPML compatibility works regarding existing pages that already includes your widgets?
– Once the new EA release is installed, can we directly go to the translation feature? Will the new strings immediately be there? Are the missing strings created when the WPML translation page is opened?
– Do we need to edit and save the page with EA widgets to create the strings first and then go to the page translation?
– Will it never create the translation strings for existing pages that includes your widgets? Do we need to rebuild all our pages?
– Or do you have an other process to be able to start translating?
Your previous answer was too vague and even not applicable: “Well, it will work the same the way it does for the Elementor widgets.”
It’s not applicable as it’s not the same context at all:
– if WPML was installed first, then Elementor, then the pages created, there’s no question, the strings are created when the page is saved
– and if Elementor was installed first, pages created, then WPML was installed, then WPML looks for missing strings during it’s installation process. In the case of your update it’s a different context: WPML, Elementor & pages with widgets are already created! Is it your installation/update process that will look for the missing strings and will create them? Or are they created when the translation page is opened?
Thanks.
