Adding the new roles on existing user, without over-riding the current roles

    Hello Please kindly help me again.
    Now I need to add role for existing users, without touching existing roles.
    I thought it could work if I selected,
    [Yes, add new roles and not override existing one]

    But, it did not work for me..
    CSV file : I added only a [new role] to be added
    the result after importing: Current role is remian, no new role is added

    can you please help me how I can make it happen?
    I am sorry if I over looked instruction in documents..

    Have you selected the option to override current roles?

    Hi Javier,
    Thank you very much for your responce,

    I also tried to select [Yes, update and override existing roles]
    and I put ONLY NEW roles I want to add on the CSV file,
    Then result was
    wiped all the existing roles, and left only the new role.

    But what I want to do is, add only the new roles while keeping the current roles.
    Is it possible to do it with this plub in?

    Sorry but you are not reading what are you selecting:

    Yes, update and override existing roles

    It is delete old ones, and set new one.

    Choose the other option please.

    but I just tested it after reading your reply.

    I thought another one sounds like for me.
    That is the reason I selected the other one, according to my first post above.

    1. I selected
    [Yes, add new roles and not override existing one]
    2. CSV file : I added only a [new role] to be added
    3. the result after importing: Current role is remian, no new role is added

    Then as per my first post, I wondered if we can hear an instruction from you how to properly do it.
