Running 2 installations

  • My company runs its site in english. Now it’s necessary to run a site in french. The french version will have the same static pages (in french, of course!) as the english version, but the articles will be different. My question is, can I install the french site in another directory but still using the same database as the english site? Or shall I install it in a new database?

  • the static page will be same, but in french.. that means it will be different (for wordpress).. also, your articles will be different. In short, your complete site will be different!!

    Its better to use a separate database.
