Registration prevented from certain countries

    Hi,

    After set up of All in One WordPress Security and Firewall I have to say I am very impressed. Many of capabilities packed into this tool. However, despite having no issues registering individuals in North America, Colleagues from Africa (Nigeria and South Africa in particular) are not able to successfully register new accounts to the site anymore. They are able to successfully log-in after a user has been created for them and I have made certain their ip’s are not in the Locked list.

    It can’t be the captcha issue I have seen elsewhere because users here are able to create new users without any problem.

    After the failure, we have tested using the same person’s details to register using the same registration page here and received the same result of not being able to log them in. Fairly confused.

    Anyone have suggestions?

    what is the exact behaviour seen when the registration fails? Are any error or messages displayed on the screen? Any logs?

    Have you tried deactivating the aiowps plugin and then attempting a test registration from the same countries you say are having the issue?

    No. That is the bizarre part. The page basically refreshes somewhat by taking out the username and password and a new recaptcha. The remaining fields are populated with the previously filled data. Typically, I receive an email with each subscription (taking advantage of your manual approval feature) but in this case I do not receive any such message.

    Since that issue, I have had a successful user registration from Uganda so it definitely isn’t a whole continent thing.

    There are also no logs (that I can see) of the issue.

    I have a few more users specifically from Nigeria and South Africa that will try to login again tomorrow (during the night for me in EST). If there are specific areas for me to examine, please let me know and I will do my best to gather screen caps if they occur.
