How to count the quantity and value of the product’s that are being added to car

    Is it possible to count the quantity and value of the products that have been added to cart in Google Analytics?

    Hi Stan,

    Do you mean an amount like the cart value? So sum(item price * qty)? Or separate metrics with sum(item qty)?

    Hi,

    Value of the cart separated by products. Item price * Qty. Right now, I’m getting $0 until someone places an order then it updates the data under Product Performance.

    Hi Stan,

    GA does not have any native feature to track cart content.
    With enhanced ecommerce reporting, you can see what products have been added to the cart and how many times.

    If you wish to replicate what can be seen in the Product Performance report but instead for the orders, with cart content, you might need to use custom metrics and populate those custom metrics within GTM manually.
