• Hello Support
    I am now focusing on mobile viewing and have two questions to ask and both related to my menu structure.
    Can the Hamburger menu icon be on the right hand side of the page?
    Is there a trick to adding menu buttons that are side by side one line so when viewed on a mobile they are slightly separated?

    Many thanks

    Alexander

    I should have added is it an option to use a Responsive Menu plugin and if so what is recommended?

    Hi,

    For aligning the menu on the right side, can you go to the Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS in the dashboard and insert the code mentioned below:

    @media screen and (max-width: 600px){
       .better-responsive-menu .site-header .menu-toggle {
           position: absolute;
           right: 15px;
        }
    }

    For the second query, we couldn’t get you properly. Can you explain in detail which section and what you want to achieve?

    Thanks.

    My second query was a general question regarding an additional plugin for mobile screen optimisation but I am sure you will say your theme is already optimised for mobile screens.

    It is probably that I have not quite understood all the requirements of the theme regarding mobile screens. Maybe you have a link to all the required settings?

    I will move the hamburger menu to the right side as you suggest and thanks again for your prompt reply.

    Hi,

    For making the site optimized and load faster, you can take a reference from the link below:

    Many thanks Rajesh …

    The link is very helpful but does not quite answer my question.

    My question .. does Spacious Theme recommend an additional plugin for mobile menus.

    When I look at other sites that use Spacious I see there mobile menu actually has the word Menu as well as the hamburger icon.

    Thanks

    Alexander

    Hi,

    The Spacious theme doesn’t recommend any additional plugin for the menu, but a user can use a third party menu plugin if they want.
    Also, the menu and the hamburger icon are showing from the theme. If you switch off the responsive menu, it will be shown as hamburger and menu text both. For showing it, can you go to the Appearance > Customize > Header > Responsive Menu Style and uncheck the Switch to new responsive menu.

    Thanks.

    Many thanks Rajesh and I will take your recommendation and only use the Spacious Theme for my menus.

    I had presumed the NEW RESPONSIVE MENU was specifically for mobile phones but as I could not find any references to it, I had to ask the question.

    Will try with and without the New responsive Menu checked and unchecked to see which looks better on the mobile phone as this is the only area I am struggling with as Spacious Theme on PC and tablet is perfect.
