‘No search results found’ page is missing

    Hi,
    I’ve noticed that there isn’t a page for ‘no results found’. When searching a term that is not found, only a blank page is displayed.
    I thought that was caused by an error on my web, but it also happens on the Fukasawa live demo: https://www.andersnoren.se/themes/fukasawa/?s=noresults
    How can a message like ‘No results found for XXXX’ be shown? or even better, is it possible to create a custom search results page?

    That should definitely be included. Look for it in the next update, which should be live in the next couple of days.

    Hi @anlino. I can see the ‘no results found’ is working on the Fukasawa demo, however on my site (Fukasawa v.1.28) nothing is displayed. Any idea on what’s going on?

    @antoniomc76 Try deleting and reinstalling the theme, and see if that helps. If that doesn’t help, check if there are any caching solutions running on the site and try deactivating them.

    Thanks @anlino I tried deleting and reinstalling and it worked, but when my child theme was activated it stopped working, so it’s pretty clear there’s something wrong with my child-theme. Which php file contains the search function? Replacing my custom file with the original one should fix it, right?

    @antoniomc76 Your child theme probably includes index.php, replacing the parent theme index.php which contains the new “No search results” code. You can copy the lines from line 89 to 97 in the parent theme index.php and paste them before the closing <?php endif; ?> in your child theme. That should fix it.
