    Hi there

I am on the latest version of the plugin. Backing up to google drive storage used to work perfectly, but now I am getting this error: “Google Drive: Have not yet obtained an access token from Google – you need to authorise or re-authorise your connection to Google Drive.”

I have de-authorised and re-authorised, as well as un-installing and re-installing the plugin, but I still get the same error?

Here’s a link to the latest log: https://pastebin.com/YYTE4ERj

    Please can you help?!

    Many thanks
    Chris

Just as an update, I’ve tried to upload instead to Dropbox and I’m getting a similar/the same issue?

    Hi,

Can you please try to authenticate to your Dropbox account again from UpdraftPlus > Settings, Save the settings and run a test backup. Do you still get the same issue?

Also, if you have caching or security plugin installed, please try to temporarily deactivate.

    Thanks,
    Bryle

    Hi Bryle,

I tried to authenticate but have received the same issue when trying to back up: https://pastebin.com/F2E5V789

I then disabled my cache plugin (Swift Performance Lite) and wiped UpdraftPlus and then re-authorised Dropbox.

I then tried to backup and received the same issue again: https://pastebin.com/7KVN2fxp

    Hi,

UpdraftPlus was able to send the backups to your Dropbox as the log shows but it is not able to complete the process.

Could you try to reduce the split archive size to 25Mb?
To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 25Mb save your settings and run a test backup.

Thanks for the suggestion Bryle. Sadly I received a similar/same error:

Could this be due to storage space? I’m not sure how large the backups are?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Please can you try to update to latest version 2.16.16? We have added a few fixes and tweaks. Then let us know if you still experience the same issue.

    Regards,
    Bryle

    Thank you Bryle.

I updated to 1.16.16, put it back on google drive (as that’s what I normally use, was only using dropbox to test), and it worked!

    Thanks for your help again,

I hope that fix wasn’t too hard to do!

    Best wishes
