Error establishing a database connection???

  • Hello WordPress community.

    I am having troubles with the blog i am trying to develop, it is my first so i expected it but it is still bothersome and i need help. I am using Zymic as my webhost and https://digitalphotoart.vndv.com that is my website. I edited wp-config.php and used file-zilla to upload the files to the root directory of my site. i have no idea why it isnt working and i would appreciate any kind of help.

  • Your wp-config.php file does not appear to be configured correctly. Double check the database name, user, user password, and host connection.

    yea, my db name is digitalphotoart-wp and my
    db user is digitalphotoart-admin

    the host connection is ‘localhost’

    Based on the web hosts I’ve used, assuming digitalphotoart is your ID, shouldn’t those hyphens be underscores?

    digitalphotoart-wp to digitalphotoart_wp
    and
    digitalphotoart-admin to digitalphotoart_admin
