Visa Checkout and Masterpass

We don’t have any plans to implement these specific payment methods within our Stripe plugin at this time. You can see a little bit more background information here:

We rarely hear requests for it as most clients are happy using the default credit card method.

Stripe itself has good documentation on implementing new payment methods – you’ve already linked to the documentation. If you need further development support, I highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

Thanks for the update. It’s depressing that there are no plugins devoted to stripe, that handles ALL of their accepted payment types.

Well, this will be indexed on Google forever more when people search for “masterpass woocommerce stripe” and “visa checkout woocommerce stripe”.

Hopefully a programmer out there will see this, take it upon themselves to include all methods and then insert it into woocommerce extensions as a paid extension. There are people out there that want this.

Each of those connections must be developed separately for each Stripe plugin – that’s why different Stripe plugins support different payment methods/connections. They also need to be maintained over time, which has a development impact.
