• Hi, since updating to latest version, the ‘save this password’ browser notification has been appearing in my browser whenever I update an invoice or go to the list of invoices. With your previous version, I only saw this browser notification when adding a new client. What is causing this and what is fix? Thanks!

I’ve had one other person also using Firefox report a similar issue, although when I use Firefox it doesn’t do it for me. I think it may just be something that changed in the most recent Firefox update.

Unfortunately there may not be anything we can do about it. As you know many browsers offer to save passwords whenever they “see” a form with a password field. This makes sense when you are adding a new client because there is a password field there. However it doesn’t make sense anywhere else, like the list of invoices, because we have no password fields there. So I’m not sure why Firefox thinks it’s seeing a password where no such field exists.

It would be interesting to know if it does it on other WordPress pages like your list of posts, since the list of invoices uses that same template.

You could try opening a bug report for Firefox here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/home. The only other thing I can suggest is turning off the save passwords setting (or choose “never” just for your site).
