    Hi and thanks for this plugin,

    I would like to know if this is RGPD compliant, meaning does it set any tracking cookie (either on itself or by using google translate API) ?

    Hi,

    We do not set any tracking cookies.

    The only cookie which is being set is googlang cookie in our free version which is for storing the selected language. In our paid version no cookies are being set: https://gtranslate.io/#pricing

    Hi and thanks a lot for your quick answer. That’s great so I installed your plugin and feel better about it.

    However another qeustion has cross my mind concerning the RGPD. My website stores personal information about the users, and some of them are stored on their personal space in a page that is translated automatically. So basically, I guess all their personal info are read and processed by google for translation.

    My question is : do you know what the privacy policy of google translation service is concerning personal data like those ? Are they stored and selled ? I feel a bit concerned about this.
