    Hello,

After installing the latest version of WordPress and the latest version of Kale Pro I began experiencing a lot of difficulties with my site.

After a number of communications with the Kale Pro team and my server administration we determined that there were a number of errors with Kirki installation.

    I have tried:
    -reinstalling Kale Pro
    -reinstalling Kirki
    -manually uploading Kirki Plugin

When i do the latter i get many errors such as:
    COMMAND> CWD /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/kirki/lib
    227 Entering Passive Mode (207,150,193,194,166,80).

STATUS> Opening passive mode data connection to 207.150.193.194, port 42576.
550 /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/kirki/lib: No such file or directory
ERROR> Unable to change to folder “/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/kirki/lib”.

    COMMAND> MFMT 20190804144838 /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/kirki/lib/class-kirki-color.php
550 /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/kirki/modules/css-vars: No such file or directory
ERROR> Unable to change to folder “/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/kirki/modules/css-vars”.

    COMMAND> MFMT 20190804144838 /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/kirki/lib/class-kirki-color.php
550 /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/kirki/modules/css-vars: No such file or directory
ERROR> Unable to change to folder “/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/kirki/modules/css-vars”.

The server is running PHP 5.6.4. The server management tried to update to PHP 7 but it did not make any difference. He changed it back to 5.6.4 because he was afraid other plugins may be affected.

    Suggestions will be greatly appreciated

    Thanks so much

  • Hello there.
This is the first time anyone reports something like that…
It looks as if some plugin files don’t exist.
Could you please try removing the plugin and then re-installing it?
If that doesn’t work, perhaps your host for some reason blocks something and not all files get copied/moved on installation? (though that would be extremely weird)

Thanks so much for the quick response.

I have tried removing and reinstalling
I have tried removing and manually copying the kirki plugin into the plugin folder

That is when I noticed all the errors in the FTP attempt to install.

I will bounce this by the server host. Thanks so much.
