Bulk Smush option not appearing in multi-site setup

    I have a multisite setup.

    I installed the Plugin at network level and activated the plugin on the particular site I want to use it on.

    The Smush settings appear at the Network level, but there is no option to Bulk Smush. The only options in the Smush Dashbaord under the “Bulk Smush” tab are:
    – Image Sizes
    – Automatic compression
    – Metadata
    – Image Resizing

    At the Site level I can see on each individual image in the media library the option to Smush, but there are no bulk smush options.

    There is also no Site level Smush menu item, and in the Media menu item I also don’t get a Smush entry.

    With this setup how do I do the Bulk Smush?

  • Hi @annemarietn,

    Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to replicate this behaviour. You could try to activate Smush on the network level and use the access control settings in Smush to control who is allowed to use Smush on subsites.

    Thanks so much Anton, that was the piece I was missing, I hadn’t spotted the subsite user access settings in the network settings page for Smush. Have activated that now and am getting the “Bulk Smush Now” option.
