Default AMP Image

    I am finding that when I do not select a featured image (because it doesn’t suit that particular page’s design), the page gets the site default Gravatar for the amp-img tag. This is image is quite small so it generates a warning in the Google Search Console.

    Is this intended behaviour of the plugin? Is there a way to set an alternate image as the default? Is there a way to set the AMP image for a page which is separate from the Featured Image?

  • @andrewspear Can you share your site and we can take a look.

    There is also this open Github issue, which related to looking at the scheme.org image when there is no featured image set.

    You can try this plugin as a temporary workaround, but please share your site and we can investigate.
