• Hello All,
Here is something I’m hoping one of you can help me out with on your next rainy day. I currently use a php “random title script” on my site (refresh and look at title bar) that rotates titles in a text file. How hard or easy would it be to do a random title script that takes the title(s) of my new post and… durr nevermind I’ll just paste my post titles in the text file. Sorry for wasting space, I know I could have just wiped this post out.

  • Why not explain ?
It might appeal, it might spark ideas ?

Yes, I’d like to see what this idea for a random title could be. Might be fun.

I have a database backed random quote generator on my web-page https://amoral.org, I haven’t made it into a plug-in but it wouldn’t be particularly hard.
Unfortunately, I’m dealing with a terribly messed up WordPress install right now (my fault, no excuses), and also plu-in-ising my comments hack. So it may take a little while.
    Watch this space.

rcs1000 — if you are willing to share the code, I’d be happy to convert it into a plugin. I’ve been looking for one simlar, and that looks to be closest I can find. I’d have to make one change to it to only change the quote once a day rather than on each refresh, but that could be built-in as an option. If you want, contact me via my website.

    Tg,
I’ll dig out my code this evening and email it to you.
    Cheers,
