    Hello.

I have submitted two support requests in the last few months on https://wppopupmaker.com/ and have gotten no response. Hopefully someone will see this.

    Background:
I have been using Advanced Targeting Conditions with Popup Maker for a few years now. Everything worked fine until I upgraded our website to Multisite.
Now the User Roles are no longer triggering pop ups.

    1. Link Your Implementation of Popup Maker (www):
    https://nprintgraphix.com/dashboard/calculators/vinyl-banner/
(This page requires the user be logged in)

    2. Describe what is supposed to happen:
When the user’s role is “partial”, clicking the Order Now button will trigger a pop up to complete filling out their information.

    3. Describe what is actually happening:
The pop up triggers every time the Order Now button is clicked. User role appears to have no affect on this.

    4. If you have to click something on your page to get the popup to show, please specify where:
    The Order Now button.

This glitch cannot be fully seen unless I give someone login information. Please let me know where I can send this securely.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@nprintgraphix – I just double checked, we use Gravity Forms to send tickets to Help Scout. There are 0 GF submissions that don’t have a HelpScout ticket ID. IE no tickets have been dropped in the past 3 months, and no tickets in Help Scout have gone without reply for more than 3 days (only 3 days because I was on vacation).

Happy to look in on it, but if your ticket was submitted, it got an answer already, maybe check your spam. Further if you didn’t receive a confirmation email upon submission your form submission wasn’t completed successfully for whatever reason.

That said I’ve never heard of a “partial” user role, is that something created by your order plugin?

In general nothing has changed in the targeting, just tested locally on a clean install and the user role detection worked correctly, which only leaves 2 possibilities:

    1. Your testing for a role that either doesn’t exist or is not assigned to the current user.
    2. Your site uses overly agressive caching and is serving cached page to logged in users. This could be resulting in a copy of the page being saved by a “partial” user then served again to all subsequent users.

Otherwise that condition uses WP’s own current_user_can( ‘partial’ ) to check if they should see it, nothing we can do if that function isn’t returning the expected result due to another plugin filtering it for example.

Hope that helps. If your issue is resolved please take a moment to rate and review the plugin or support.

If you still need help please message us directly at https://wppopupmaker.com/support/.

In your case just submit an email directly to support + wppopupmaker.com
