problem, excluding a page from the menu

    I am trying to exclude a page from my top menu. The code I’m using is below. The page is numbered 131, I got this by rolling over the page title in pages>edit and looking at the bottom of the browser. Seems logical, but it does not exclude the page from the menu!

    Any ideas?

    <?php wp_list_pages('exclude=131&title_li=' ); ?>
