    Hi again,

I seem to be having trouble getting the thumbnails for some google albums to show, if I select to show only shared albums it partially works, but only shows about 15 of the 23 albums, I am pretty sure all the albums are shared under Google photos. I have done this before on other pages like https://daniel-baker.photography/g2019/ and it worked fine so I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong this time.

Try turning on the option Photonic → Settings → Google Photos → Google Photos Settings → Chain queries.

That being said, I not seeing anything on the page you linked. Does that page have caching turned on?

It may through cloudfare but it didn’t seem to work when I switched to development mode either, I’ll check all caching is off and try your suggestion

I’m now getting a quota exceeded message, which at least is something different but will have to wait until the quota resets before testing further.

If you are getting a quota exceeded message due to query chaining, it is likely that the album ids that you have listed are incorrect. That would also explain why nothing was showing up originally.

I’ll delete the code and re add through the photonic front end, thanks for the help so far

Using chain seemed to work on a page with only a few albums, it took a long time to load though, I have had to turn it off though as it was causing server timeouts and high cpu load. I appreciate your help though, I may have to rethink how I do it.

I copied my site to my pc and used xampp, when I enable chain mode I get this message – Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in N:\xampp\htdocs\MySite\wp-content\plugins\photonic\extensions\Photonic_Google_Photos_Processor.php on line 530

Not sure I can help you with this specific case. It would seem like Google is returning an invalid “nextPageToken”, which is causing empty search results to come back. Photonic relies on the page token to fetch results from subsequent pages and if the token is invalid, you start running into issues such as not finding results, or quotas being exceeded in the chain query mode.

Thanks Sayontan, I appreciate your help, I’ll keep using photonic for photos but rethink how I will display albums. It’s a brilliant plugin, keep up the great work.
