Help! Just created a new post and now when I try to upload an image to the Media Library I get “HTTP Error”. It acts like the upload goes fine (runs up to 100%) and then bombs out at the end. I also tried the Browser Uploader; THAT just takes me to the “Page Not Found” page!! The file I’m trying to upload is only 171 KB! What’s going on??
Running WordPress 5.2.2, PHP 7.3. Cleared caches, no change. Disabled W3 Total Cache, Duplicator, Jetpack, and UpdraftPlus – no change. Still have Akismet, Loginizer, EMail Subscribers, and GiveWP plugins enabled, but I don’t see how any of them would affect it.
Is there a workaround? Can I upload the file through CPanel, and if so, which directory does it go in, and will simply placing the file there add it to my media library?
I am NOT an experienced user, so SIMPLE suggestions / instructions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Hey, I THINK I got it “fixed”…
The file which I was trying to upload had an apostrophe in the filename (it was “Children’s Outreach Ministry 02.jpg”).
I changed it to Childrens-Outreach-Ministry.jpg and it uploaded with no problem.

Assuming that the apostrophe in the filename was actually the problem, it would be REALLY NICE if WordPress gave a little more specific (HELPFUL!) error message!!
