I’m helping a client grow their site Ondeq.net beyond a single page. I’ve added a blog main page and blog posts. I’ve built a main menu to display the Blog menu item and the search option. The main menu displays on the blog main page https://ondeq.net/workforce-management-blog/ but not on the home page https://ondeq.net/.

If I turn off the Elementor Pro plug-in, the menu appears on the home page (but the contact form on the home page disappears).

From what I’ve read elsewhere, this might be a case of a transparent header on the home page hiding the menus. I just can’t find where to turn that transparency on or off.

I’ve check the Elementor templates for the site and we’re not using one for the home page.

Thanks for any help. I suspect this is an easy issue that I’m just not figuring out.

  • I don’t think it’s transparency because if you inspect the element, there’s no actual HTML for the menu in the code. It’s just an empty div.

But if you inspect an inner page, you’ll see the menu is the theme’s menu (Hestia), not Elementor’s.

So perhaps knowing those two things will help. When you turn off Elementor Pro, you see Hestia’s menu (which is what the inner pages are using). With it on, the Home page is using your Elementor menu. I’d check the Elementor menu to make sure you told it which menu to use.

Since you are using Pro, for more help, you’ll need to open a support ticket at my.elementor.com. www.ads-software.com rules state that commercial products are not supported here.

Thanks for all the info, @cavalierlife! If that’s not enough clues for my brain, I’ll go seek the Elementor forums. As you can tell, I’m used to working with free themes!
