• Hi,

Thank you for this plugin! I was looking for the option to capture a picture via the camera and it does the work.
However, the upload is very slow and I can’t load it to the page. I’d be happt to know how to solve these.
Also, I basically use it through the mobile camera but I saw that it doesn’t support the webcam and that’s a pity for laptop users.

    Thank you!

Hi, mobile camera is also supported, however not for all browsers. Try Chrome. It should work.

What do you mean the upload is very slow? can I see the shortcode?

Regarding loading on page, what do you want to do? show the image on page after upload?

    Regards

    Hi Nickolas,

    Thank you for your reply!

The mobile camera indeed works, but the webcam doesn’t. It opens a browse (on Chrome).

The image upload is very long. Yes, I’d like to show the image on the page (not only in media library).
Then, once the image is displayed, to display more data (kind of an if statement)

    Thank you! Varda

Hi, what camera do you mean as “webcam”? The plugin has an option to select front or back camera.

Regarding long upload time, can you send me the shortcode to check the configuration?

Regarding displaying of image after upload, do you want only that image to show? what should happen if the user uploads another one?

    Hi Nickolas,

Webcam – I meant the camera on a PC/Laptop. The one on mobile works. It’s doesn’t work on a laptop.

    Upload: here’s the shortcode:
    [wordpress_file_upload singlebutton=”true” fitmode=”responsive” forcefilename=”true” duplicatespolicy=”maintain both” placements=”selectbutton+uploadbutton/message” uploadtitle=”box pic” selectbutton=”Press Here” imagename=”Box Picture” notify=”true” notifyrecipients=”[email protected]” notifyheaders=”Screen Capture” attachfile=”true” medialink=”true” postlink=”true” webcam=”true” webcammode=”take photos”]

I wanted to display the image that was taken and once it’s displayed to display additional info (activating a “if then else” option somehow).

    Thank you!

Hi, you need to put webcam in placements attribute. Go to Placements tab using the visual editor of the shortcode and drag webcam item to the left side.

Let me know when you do that.
