• I have this error only on the subdomains of a domain eventfilmcars.com
we were working on a test and beta version and then we started getting the http error.

I have searched your forum and also google and did every step to try and fix the problem, does not matter if the filesize is 1mb or 60 i increased the size to 512 .. including https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-http-image-upload-error-in-wordpress/

so just to check, my host says is not a problem their end

i created a new subdomain, database and downloaded the latest wp core files and made a new installation, nothing more than wordpress and i get the error

i can upload a single file no problem, but i need to upload multiple, I tried workarounds for this also none of them worked.

we have to get things done hope someone can direct me further.

only subdomains on this domain.. a new subdomain created only install wordpress can’t upload but on the domain not subdomain i can upload photos

You are not alone. I am running 5.2.2 on four different sites on two different servers.
I have been able to upload images since the 5.2.2 update.
The hosts tell me all is good.
I have tried all of the fixes in wpbeginner.com as recommended.
I have tried 2kb gif, jpg all the way up to 2mb sizes.
All four sites do NOT have all the same plugins.
I attempted the disable plugins routines on all 4 sites.
All four sites have tons of space. The sites have different PHP Versions – 7.2.20 & 7.0.33.

    Apparently it’s a WordPress Issue.

    Thanks for your quick remedy.
    Jim
