Column view issues on my mobile homepage

Background: My desktop homepage displays products in three columns. Until recently the mobile homepage was showing by default a single column. I’m using the storefront theme.
Issue: Currently my mobile homepage is showing my products in three columns (just like on the desktop) causing the product title and the ‘add to cart’ button to squish together vertically as pictured below.
Weirdly, this is only happening on my homepage, if I go to ‘my shop’ section there is only one column with one product at a time and no distorted anything.
Question: My question is what can I do to make my homepage show products in a single column again?
