Import Works, But Child Comments Associated With Wrong Parents Ones

    Hello

    First, thanks for this great plugin.

    I am working on export and import 23K comment and the export done with another plugin “WP All import” and no issues. But when i am going to import them with your plugin all of comments data imported great i am here speak about (Post ID – Name – Email – Content – Date – etc), But i am facing one issue, “comments parent” as you know when we export comments it’s exported with the old ID and also the parent will be with the same old ID, then while import the comments takes a new ID so the parent ID is not the same so it will associated with another comment “wrong parent comment”, another thing i have comments have 5 child comments and your plugin just import 1 child and import others as a parent ones.

    I am tried to set comment_alter_idas same as comment_id and also the comments associated with wrong parents.

    Hi @saberm,

    Kindly make sure that you have provided the ID of the parent comment in the comment_parent column of the child comments and the data provided in the comment_id and comment_alter_id columns are correct.

    You may also try exporting the comments using the WordPress Comments Import & Export plugin and importing the exported CSV file instead of importing the CSV exported using the WP All Import/export plugin.
