This is a nice plugin and I understand the need to have a pro version that generates income, but the amount of options that went pro-only when version 5 was released was huge. Almost every adjustment and setting are now pro-only compared to version 3 (that was the current version just a little more than a month ago).

So I just wanted to give a fair warnings to those still on version 3 and using any kind of configuration (like cookie expiration or button options). It was claimed that the settings would be preserved but locked when upgrading, but in my experience that was not always the case. I used the Full Page Light theme and that was reversed on upgrade to another theme (which can’t be changed without pro version).

Thank you @adrianb for the clarification! Yes, this is a very important information, that a lot of options went pro-only in version 5.

My intention was to preserve all previous options, but as I have almost completely rewritten the code, it was impossible to do so. Your mentioned option is a good example, as the styling options are different in the new version, styles and themes are different options now.

So I really hope everybody will admit, that my goal was to make it a better plugin and yes, I’d like to generate income that will give time for me to make it even better. It is in all our interests.

Thank you again for your feedback! It is always important for me to hear your opinions, as I’d like to make products for you, the users.
