Redirection to profile page not working

  • I have been using Ultimate Member or about 2 years now and it was working great until recently. I’m not sure what happened, but now, whenever someone registers with my website, they are redirected to the home page, not their edit profile page. And if an existing member logs in, they are redirected to the home page and not the edit profile page. This is very problematic. Pls help.

    Hi @kronos1,

    Please go to your user role settings and check your redirect link in the “Action to be taken after registration – redirect to URL” and add this link e.g yoursiteurl/user/?um_action=edit to the “Set custom redirect URL”.

    I take back what I said. I had some of the subscribers use the site again and it is not allowing them to edit their profile. Once a user is logged in, it takes them to the home page, even though I have the subscriber settings set to redirect to the edit profile URL. It still takes the users to the home page.
