Emergency Getting Spam registration from unknown email id

    I am using this plugin for user registration in my job site with wp job manager but from past few days ,I am getting spam registration. They just register on my website but then it goes to pending email approval .
    What should I do .Is there any security trouble on my website. I am using email activation required so that only verified users can access my site. They even verify their mail id
    Then, I need to delete that users.
    I don’t know how they enter company name and company address even in candidate role as these fields hide on candidate roles. Available only on employer role

    Hi @rohitkalra,

    There is no way to block 100% of spam. But here is some of the proven strategies you can use to combat them.

    1. Disable “Membership – Anyone can register” option.
    2. Change Register page link from default “register” to some other.
    3. If nothing helps, set default role “Registration Status” to “Require Email Activation”. In this case new user should approve his email before he would be able to use his account.
