• I managed to connect Facebook with the plugin. However, there’s no way to select the pages/groups that you want to AutoPost. So, I can’t even risk to test out the plugin because I might end up spamming all groups and pages, which I’m a follower.

  • Hi @deewinc

    Thank you for writing in.

We have not deliberately removed this feature from the repository rather it was deleted by WordPress as per its new privacy policy regarding social media. However, these features will certainly be available very soon in both the free and premium versions.

    Hello,

Thank you for your explanation. How do I remove the negative review. I think it is okay that I remove it. However, I have a few ideas here.

    FIRST IDEA
I noticed from reviews that people would struggle to login using their Facebook accounts. I struggled too and I found there is a way out to login without requesting Facebook to send you an authentication code.

All you have to do is generate an application-specific password and it will login without stress. You can include that in your documentation. All users have to do is login to “Facebook” head over to “Settings” and select “Security and Login.”

From here, scroll down and locate “Two-Factor Authentication.” Then select “App Passwords.” From here click on “Add” and select “Generate app passwords.” Enter your Facebook Password, give your App a name and click on “Generate password.” Facebook will give you a password to enter on the app and it worked for me.

You can test it out. It’s way easy than the method used on the plugin, which can be cumbersome since SMS codes from Facebook at times fail or delay to arrive; hence, expire and you’ve to repeat the process.

    SECOND IDEA
I have both a Facebook Page and Facebook Group. I have set the Page as an Admin to my Group. Therefore, I’m able to post in the Group using the Page’s name. When checking the WordPress to Facebook auto-post plugin, none has the ability to post in the Group using a linked Page’s profile.

Is there a way that you can include such a feature whereby users that have linked their Facebook Pages to their Facebook Groups can use the page’s name/profile to auto-post WordPress posts on the group? It will be a great idea, especially when I don’t want group members to contact me using my profile. I want them to get used to the page’s name in the group and contact me via the page.

    That’s all,
    Regards
