How to make this link show only on posts and not on pages?

  • I have a link like the following that is called by a plugin:

    <span class=”linkx”>Link Text

    The plug in causes the link to display on both posts and pages when I only want the link to display on Posts alone.

    Is there any functions.php code that I can use to make the link appear only on posts and remove it from pages?
