WooCommerce Subscriptions error message

In testing out Square 2.0.3 with WooCommerce Subscriptions, I have been unable to successfully process a subscription and am instead shown this error message in the logs: Status code NOT_FOUND: Customer with ID '{ID removed for security}' not found

Not sure if it matters, but I set “Product system of record” to “Do not sync product data”. I would attach the system report but it seems to have gone missing from the Status page. I’m using the latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce and WooCommerce Subscriptions.
