• Hello Ben,

    Thanks for adding this email template to the plugin. I was the person that requested it.

    I don’t know if it’s a bug in the template itself or just a coincidence, but after updating the plugin, I noticed that the email sent out says “We will retry the payment 5 mins ago” instead of a time in the future.

    Do you think it could be an issue with the template file for this email?

    I see it both in the preview and in my actual email log.

    I also received an “Automatic renewal payment failed” email directly to me with the same issue, however I don’t think your plugin modifies that one, does it?

    No it doesn’t modify the email… That is interesting, it’s possible in building the preview it’s incorrectly adjusting the last payment failure.

    Let me look into that more.

    Interesting. To clarify it’s the date of the next retry that seems to be getting modified incorrectly.

    It also seems that this behaviour only started with the latest plugin update, from what I can tell.

    I’m looking at the code, I can’t see how the update would cause this, but as a percaution, I’m going to remove some code for the time being to talk with the subscription authors and see if I can get a response.
