Hi. I’m using latest version (WPS Hide Login 1.5.4.2) and some users sometimes have problems with redirects to 404, even though they are logged in. This usually solves when emptying cache in browser, or using another browser.

Today one of my users gets redirected from /login/ to /404/ – How is this even possible? Do you know what could cause this?

I’m thinking maby redirects are cached in the browser for some reason? Could this be changed so that redirects are only temporary?

    Please help

/login is your new login URL, I advise you to change it and refresh your permalinks.

you must exclude this login page from the cache

Yes – I know it is my login URL. I’m using it all the time. But it seems some users have the redirect stored in the cache in their webbrowsers.

How can I exclude the redirect from webbrowsers? I’m thinking this is decided in your plugin?

    Hi there,

first of all, thank you for the great plug in.

However, I do have one WP page now where it is impossible to login.

I get my login page once I g to /myloginpage , type in my user and password and get straight redirected to a 404 page.

Deleting, upgrading or renaming the plugin doesn’t help! Same mess now when using the wp-login.php and deleted or renamed wps-hide-login folder.

    Cache is completely cleared

Would be great to get a solution how to get back in to my WP site..

    THx in advance…

Ok, not sure what made it run again… perhaps the permalink flush… (even I tried a couple of times before)…

No problem anymore on my end..

    Thx
