NOT “Unlimited & Free”

  • Description uses the words ‘Unlimited’ and ‘Free’ but many features are locked behind a PRO version. That’s NOT what UNLIMITED or FREE means! I don’t care if it works or not, the fact that businesses cannot be honest upfront gets me. But hey, if you support misleading consumers then keep on using it, especially if it works for you.

    Actual:

    – That looks like a limit to me.
    It even says right in the plugin that it has limits:

    Hi @jolanxbl,

    I’m sorry if you think that the explanation is unclear but the statement that you can optimize unlimited images for free is correct.

    The limitation for 50 images is for one Bulk Smush session, which means that you can start another one as soon as it’s done and optimize the next 50 images.
    There’s no limit on how many times you can do this so you can optimize unlimited images with the free version as well.

    Also, this applies only for your existing images that need to be bulk optimized, if you enable auto-optimization then all the new images that you upload will be optimized during the upload process, without any further action needed.
